Hi John,

I too have struggled with wind protection with the NT1A. In general now I u=
se a 4 way stretch fleece for my outer layer and a foam windscreen on the m=
ic. I hardly ever use the heavier fake fur anymore, but instead chance the =
wind will calm or else switch to the AT3032 which is much less prone to rum=
ble. Switching from the elastic cords to rubber o-rings in the stock shock=
mounts made a big difference in vibrational rumble.

In this 18 minute version, you will likely notice the wind rumble at the be=
ginning and then increasing again toward the end.

Enjoy,

op the capsule banging around, and yet retain such clear sounds? With my NT=
-1A, I have problems getting such clear sounds without a LOT of wind protec=
tion (on a windy day). This then tends to 'muffle' the actual target sound =
somewhat. If I use less protection, I usually get a fair bit of diaphram no=
ise from the mic.
