Also check the backing. Most of it is made on a net backing--if you
hold it up to the light you can see through it. But when we were
shopping for fur for the NSS Workshop's "make your own windscreen"
session last year, we bought some by mistake that had a solid opaque
leathery backing and was useless for windscreens.
