Thank you clint.... I did post the recording info under the sound-bite but here it is again. Microphone: Telinga DAT Recorder: SD 722 Sample/bit rate: 44.1K 24Bit Weather: mist Temp: 33f Humidity: 78% Time: 08:25 Biophony: American crow, Merlin, Black-capped chickadee, Northern flicker, Red-breasted nuthatch, steller=92s jay. The Telinga DAT mic I use for species specific most all the time so yes, the merlin was centered as you would imagine.
