Gilles, if you're interested in the different types of sounds,
themselves, you might try the libraries at either Skywalker Ranch
(LucasFilm) for starters. They have a wonderful collection of aircraft
sounds for WWI through the present, that they've used as sound effects
for various films that have been mixed there. If you'll contact me off-
