Marcelo, I've been using the following 2 batteries with my Fostex FR2 (infamously hard on batteries): SecurityMan SM-BP3600 Rechargeable Battery Pack (3600mAh) http://tinyurl.com/8zjel8 (Amazon.com) Tekkeon MP3300 MyPower All Battery http://tinyurl.com/96fpmb (Amazon.com) The Tekkeon battery offers the most options in voltages: 3v, 4.5v, 5v, 6v, 7.5v, 9v, 12v, & 14v. The SecurityMan offers just 3 voltages: 8v, 9v & 12v. I haven't tested the exact times they power my FR2, but I've gotten at least 2-3 hours of constant recording & monitoring. I did run a test with the SecurityMan battery and a BeachTek DXA-10 preamp (also notoriously power hungry with it's original single 9v battery)... The battery kept the preamp running over 9 hours! |
