Your Morepork and our Boobook are probably the same owl, so your info
is very usefull

I know the direction the call is coming from, and it's reasonably open
so the choices for it to be hiding somewhere are limited.

Unfortunately, it's also mostly private land, so I'll need to do a bit
of binocular work to narrow it down further.
