AT is also announcing a lower-cost version of their new XY stereo mic, the AT8022. <http://www.audio-technica.com/cms/wired_mics/5c9c0e5adaceb659/index.html > Battery or phantom. Its self-noise is spec'd at 19 dBA, still pretty good for a medium-priced mic (5 dB higher than 8045, 4 dB lower than Shure WL183, for reference). -Dan Dugan |
