Subject: [Nature Recordists] audio file decomposition
From: Brian D. Farrell <>
Dear colleagues, I am interested in converting .wav files to a raw form for=
 analysis by some
non-audio engineer friends and would appreciate any information from the au=
dio engineers
among us. What we would like to have is a digital matrix of audio signal st=
ripped of all
headers and other program specific information. Thank you for your thoughts=
 and
consideration.

Best regards,

brian
