Emotions can interfere with the larger goals of the list when a
reader starts to believe that he/she has little or nothing to learn
from another recordist. It doesn't matter whether the recordist is a
novice or very experienced. I see a balance of attitudes behind all
of the good work done by the recordists on this list. Few readers
see themselves or others without contradictions. We sometimes get
chances to unravel a few of them. Rob D.
