Remember- I said I was new at this... So, let's say I purchased the following items (in order of connections, from pre-amp to mic's): Preamp (2 Female 3-pin XLR inputs) 1) Y cable: 2 Male 3-pin XLR to Female 5-pin XLR 2) Connector: Male to Male 5-pin XLR (is this made?) 3) 50-100 foot Extension cable: Female 5-pin XLR to Male 5-pin XLR 4) Y cable: Female 5-pin XLR to 2 Male 3-pin XLR 5) Connectors: 2 Female to Female 3-pin XLR Microphones (2 Female 3-pin XLR inputs) Two big questions: 1) Is connector #2 (Connector: Male to Male 5-pin XLR) even available? 2) Is this too many connections for clean sound? Thanks, in advance! |
