This might be the first time a manufacturer has boldly advertised a mic as "resistant to moisture." I imagine the NTG3 will be of use to "professional broadcast and film industr(y)" folks as Rode suggests, but nature recordists probably place more everyday demand on high moisture/humidity performance. Would be especially great if Rode would come out with a figure 8 companion and hold the same noise specs /price point. Rob D. -- |
