<<it seems to me a shame to pull the plug on such an enlightening debate>> It started out enlightening, then it turned infantile. A couple participants have contacted me privately to continue a dialogue under more civil circumstances, since any real communication on the forum under such conditions of Internet rage seemed unlikely.
