Have any of you tried the WL184 in XY config with the LS-10? Would there be any improvement in self-noise? I'm wishing for a way to improve upon the built-in mics but still have some= thing that's handheld; I'm thinking of some kind of long narrow plate on which I'= d mount the LS-10, the PiP mics, and a windscreen. I don't think I'd be able= to make a barrier large enough for omnis and still be able to call it hand-= held. I was woken up by a coyote about 50m from my front door this morning; I liv= e in an area zoned as Residential Natural Preserve. Never heard one here before= . The LS-10 got a passable recording but with a lot of self noise. |
