There are many recorders that can make use of flash cards with more
than 4 GB of memory. The following recorders work with 16GB SDHC card:
Olympus LS-10, M-Audio Microtrack II, Edirol R-09HR, Marantz PMD620,
and Tascam DR-1.  Most limit individual file size to 2GB, but then
automatically start a new file.

According to Sony, they don't make a Memory Stick with capacity
greater than 4GB that is fast enough to use reliably with the D-1 or
D50 when recording 24/96.  Maybe this is why they haven't updated the
firmware to recognize larger cards.
