Hi Lily,

Note that the above cable from soundprofessionals.com is a very
special one with 5 pins. However, you will just need a common cable
with 3 pins.

Bye the way, I believe that you could even use the cheapest XLR-3
cable that you can get. Even the cheapest should be sufficiently
shielded. This is certainly true for recording in field where you are
usually far away from any AC powered electrical devices. In contrast
to unbalanced 3.5 mm microphone connections, the balanced XLR cable
connection between the AT3032 and the Fostex recorder provides by
design an inbuilt immunity against electrical interferences.

Nevertheless, I would recommend a quality cable with Neutrik
connectors because it would be probably more reliable than a very
cheap one.
