Hi Robin--
I know we've discussed this at length, but I can't seem to come-up
with a string of terms to find it in the list archive. You can also
search the web.
You can match them by ear-- best if you have good monitoring
speakers/headphones. Or,.. if your current speakers/headphones are
the main playback system you'll be using, you can use the better of
these (or both).
In theory, matching could be done with frequency sweeps but it often
turns out to be a question of matching the tonal balance of the mics
and this easier to hear than see when the differences are small. For
starters, what monitoring system (amp and speakers/headphones) and
recorder or external preamp would you be using? Rob D.
