'Garden of Eden' for nature recordists

Forgive me if this has already been discussed here, but just in case 
it hasn't...

Last night on 60 Minutes (Australian version) they showed a segment 
about the Foja Mountains of Indonesia. I found it fascinating, and 
actually let my dinner overcook rather than miss any of it.

Something of particular interest was the way the birds and mammals of 
the area interacted with the film crew with little or no fear. It 
reminded me of being in the Galapagos Islands, where there are (or 
were, until humans arrived and introduced rats and similar) no 
natural predators, and so no animal is afraid is any other.

The Foja Mountains looked like a paradise for nature recording, 
although it is probably better left alone. There probably aren't too 
many places like this left in the world...
