Also, as has been pointed out many times but not in a while...
Space characters (such as between words)in URLs are often not
recognized by browsers and cause broken links. Most spaces get
converted to "%20" by the browser but some get missed. Using dashes or
underscores between words in your folder and file names will fix that.
I have noticed even with <carets>, a link can become broken if the url
is two long and spans more than one line of text. Short file names and
short paths to your recordings will help in reaching your audience.
And if you can't keep it short, you can make it tiny at tinyurl.com.
