I had the same thought - that these might be either Tri-colored raised
among Red-wings or vice-versa. The song is certainly a mixture of the two,=
and this is the right area of the country for that to happen. As Kevin
says, there is a lot of variation in Red-wings' songs. Those in Costa Rica=
are barely recognizable, very "thin" and quiet. The territory where Dan
recorded could have both species, so a certain admixture, both of the
species and the songs, might be expected. I'd love to know the answer!
