No sound that I can find, alas, http://www.tepapa.govt.nz/TePapa/English/CollectionsAndResearch/CollectionA= reas/NaturalEnvironment/Molluscs/ColossalSquid/ but I suspect there are some on this list who might be as interested as I a= m in the thawing of a 10m, 490 kg colossal squid specimen going on live, now, in New Zealand. A friend just forwarded the link, in addition to multiple webstreams from different angles, there's a nice blog with some impressive pictures -- the tentacle and arm hooks give me pause -- and commentary about the creature's eyes, the size of soccer balls...
