Thanks John for posting this, they downloaded fine, All extremely interesti=
ng recordings indeed. This whole recording wind topic has been quite inform=
ative and interesting.
Not to get off topic, after all, this is a nature recording forum... but th=
e song starting at 1:30 on the Nepal Comp is hypnotizing and I absolutely l=
ove the percussions,?they gave me goosebumps. I am going to forward the lin=
k to my friend whole does cultural anthropology in Ladak in northern India =
(much near Tibet), he'll really appreciate these. Maybe I should convince h=
im to buy a portable recorder when he goes back this summer? : ) He ain't b=
orrowing my gear!

Subject: [Nature Recordists] Re: Recording Wind
I've created a small HTML file (Compilations.html) with the links to
Greg's Tibet & Nepal
files. I've also included the Microphones To Tibet article in PDF format.
The HTML file is in the Files area in a folder called Greg's Files. Or
a copy of it can be found here
http://www.tudorfarm.net.au/files/Compilations.html
I created the page to link to the files on my site because the 'Files'
area here only allows a 5 Mb file size. I didn't want to chop any of
Greg's files down to fit, as it would have destroyed the context of
the sounds.
Let me know if anyone has a problem with the downloads.
Regards
John
