Hi, I just had the pleasure to try out the new Neuman KM D microphones. They are the absolute quietest mics I've ever encountered. After talking to the Neuman rep, it appears they can also be used in the field since the big "translation box" is not needed once the settings are done on the mic. Somebody should try it out in the field, on quiet elements like birds etc. In a few weeks we'll try'em out in the field. If nobody has posted by then, I'll report on them. cheers -charles |
