The latest, 2nd edition of  "Listening to Jupiter" by Richard S. Flagg
might give you some ideas.  Its table of contents is here

I have the first edition (year 2000) which refers to the use high
speed tape recorders. However,  technology moves on so there is
probably better ways of doing it now - possibly with home computers.
