Hi, I've created a weblog for the NSS. As I work with our webmaster
we'll end up having a link on the NSS site that will point to the
blog, but for now you can view it here:
http://naturesoundssociety.typepad.com/.
There are just 2 posts at the moment. The newest features a clip of
Dan Dugan discussing the MS mic technique at one of his Tech Talks.
In the future the idea will be to have anyone who has something of
interest they would like to tell people about to send it to me and I
will post it on the blog. For example if someone attended an event
they wanted to tell people about this could be another way of getting
the word out in addition to the listservs. People could upload video
clips to youtube and I could embed them in the blog if they so
desired. Of course if someone wanted to share some recordings they
made, they could be posted as well. Ideally there will be posts from
NSS events like the workshop and other events the NSS will be involved
with. This will be a way to make the NSS site more up to date as well
as hopefully drawing more people to it. So check it out and let me
know if you have something to share.
cheers,
blair collins
