I can't compare them to the Rodes. I have five of them, four and a
spare, for my "heavy" (stand mounted) rig. I use a Josephson-built
Jecklin Disk for the front pair, and space the rear mikes wide left
and right (per Rich Peet's suggestion). Using the supplied foam
windscreens plus Rode "Dead Cat" fuzzies. Not too sure about the
latter. The price is right, but they have a bulky seam right on-axis.
The rig sounds great.
