Hi Andy--
It depends a bit on how you want to configure them, on your head, 
around a tree, body-worn etc. One can quickly and simply create some 
dead-air space around the capsules with fabric:

A more rigid form can be made from spherical or half-spherical 
plastic forms one can get at Michaels Craft stores
