I've talked to Martyn about using froglogger(s) for bird surveys. The new
model should interest him.

Be sure to see this film when it is released, (i have a vested
interest) some of the footage was used in Planet Earth. It is
narrated by Patrick Stewart, the film takes us on a global journey
into the lives and plight of three separate animals. a polar bear
family in the Arctic that struggle to find food before the ice begins
to melt in the spring. then to the Kalahari where we encounter an
elephant mother and her calf on a dangerous trek through the desert
to find water. And finally, a humpback whale mother and her newborn
calf as she struggles to keep her child safe from danger as they
begin their 6,000 km migration from the warm seas of the equator to
Antarctica.
The website is now up and running with still a fair bit to do. I
really hope you get the chance to see this....

The film should be released in November 2007
