Fwiw I have a pair of Core Sound "High End Binaurals" (HEBs) that are
based on DPA lav 4060 series lav mics.
They don't use any existing DPA mount, they come as bare mics with
small DPA alligator clips. Mounting and windshielding are left as an
exercise for the user. (Personally I recommend using or copying the
Sonic Studios WHB windscreen headband...)
The original termination is clipped and the pair are reterminated in
some kind of miniconnector that mates to the provided 9V powering box;
output is on 1/8" stereo miniplug or XLR (you can pick).
Len (at Core) also matches the capsules for you (I think within about
1-2 db at 1000 Hz); he told me once that there is a lot of variation
from mic to mic and the matching is part of what you are paying for...
NB: by design these mics have a mild boost in the 3-5K range (as I
recall) for speech reinforcement, see the datasheet for particulars...
best,
aaron
