I've heard Fierynecked Nightjar, a classic night sound of the African bush,= in a few drekky b-grade thrillers set in the US. It's a great call, but st= ill... However, a recent disappointment was hearing a Redchested Cuckoo in Attenbo= rough's 'Planet Earth' during a night scene of Fennec foxes hunting in the = Egyptian desert. Redchested's do sometimes call at night, but they only occ= ur south of the Sahara. With such a huge budget they still let one slip!
