Speaking of sounds that match visuals: For those interested, yesterday, we put up nearly 100 Google Map sites w/ relevant soundscapes, and metadata. Check it out and critiques are definitely welcome, please. Google asked us to do this as a trial. Actually, I prefer Google Earth as a platform, but the software they use (KML) is complicated and extremely limited since it doesn't support sound, per se. So it's clunky and awkward. Hence, for the moment (until improvements are made in their KML layer =96 hopefully by year's end or = beginning of next), it's Maps. http://earth.wildsanctuary.com Bernie Wild Sanctuary POB 536 Glen Ellen, CA 95442 707-996-6677 http://www.wildsanctuary.com Google Earth zooms: Earth.WildSanctuary.com |
