Hi all,
this snippet was recorded with Telinga twin science and FR-2LE. I too
am wondering why the recording levels on the FR-2LE are so low. When
I turn up the gain to where the levels register on the recorder I get
too much hiss.
Luckily I was able to get very close to this owl. This is a call of a
fledgeling. It is the classic "sharpening a scythe with a stone" call.
