Thank You Peter, I will download that...I have few binaural mics
where do U come from?
Your name sounds hugarian
I am from Poland
do U have a website?
Peter <> escribi=F3:
I have an old H120, which is mostly the same but only 20 gb. I do=
n't
use it for nature recordings and don't think it would give the best
quality recordings, but I can give you some notes anyway..
Being a hard drive recorder, you need an external mic or you get hard
drive noises in your recordings (unless they're very short)
If you get an iriver, I highly recommend getting Rockbox (
www.rockbox.org ) which is an open source firmware. You can have both
firmwares (the original and rockbox) on your iriver and choose which
one you want to use by pressing different buttons to start up. Rockbox
gives you a bunch of extra options when recording such as a dynamic
compression and limiting, and longer record times. Also it's free
(open source).
