Andrew, You could use a standard quick release plate with the 3/8" stud and a 3/8" to 5/8" adapter. Most photographic supplies have them. You could try http://www.micsupply.com/standaccessories.htm I have Manfrotto/Bogen tripod equipment and have several of these adapters in my bag.
