Hi Folks! I have used my FR2LE for about an hour, learning menus and things. Testing input noise and so on. I have put batteries in only once, then out for charge, then in again. Yesterday I should use it with four fully charged 2700 mA/h AA batteries. It wouldn't start. I removed the batteries and checked charging and polarity. The machine would still not start. Then I discovered that it started when the battery pack was hanging out. When I put it back into it's place into the recorder, the machine shut itself off. The same thing happened three or four times. I suspected that the cables going from the battery pack to the recorder was off or shorted. Today I should remove the battery pack and check these cables. But the machine starts and behaves normal. No shortage or other trouble.... Klas. Telinga Microphones, Botarbo, S-748 96 Tobo, Sweden. Phone & fax int + 295 310 01 email: website: www.telinga.com |
