<Anyone know if this mic is good for nature recording? I heard it is good for recording lectures and singing. I tried recording some waves at Stinson Beach. Not much bass response it seemed. But I haven't got a windscreen yet.>> Haven't used that particular Sony but my experience with 5 or 6 other Sony ECM models is that they are noisy, lack low frequency response, & in general don't have what I would consider particularly good detail resolution. You'll definitely need a windscreen for any outdoor use. Scott Fraser |
