assuming that anyone who carries there recording equipment on a
backpacking trip will apply to bicycle touring as well. Just=C3=82 more
padding possibly. I plan on carrying a Sony MZ RH1=C3=82 with Shure WL183's
(when I get them, don't have them yet) I killed a camera during a
tour, possibly from the jarring but thats only speculation. That's why
I would be hesitant to carry my recording gear on a bike tour. Where
as on a backpacking trip, one has more "control" over there belongings.

Hi Dave,
That reminds me, I have some bike tour recordings from a couple years
ago collecting dust up on my website - guess I might as well share
them. I had thrown them together kind of hastily to share at a post
bike tour drinking event the week after. It's a mix of nature sounds
and bike tour dinner conversations. I hope these play ok, I had to
delete Track 4 because it got corrupted on the web server somehow.

Crook County Bike Tour: March 19-22 2005

They were recorded with Shure wl-183s and a Sony MZ N707
