this is probably a silly question, but maybe some of you will have
some thoughts on the subject.
i'm a huge fan of the sony 7576 studio monitor headphones - i wear
them all the time and use them on a daily basis. both for recording,
but also for general listening. i find them to be very neutral and
clear, and sound just as good as my near-field monitors that i use at
home in my studio. problem is, it's too damn hot out side. i wear
these all the time while walking around the city, in the subway, etc
etc. in the winter, this is great - they work excellently as ear muffs
- but in these hot, muggy, new york summers, it's a real mess. even if
you take them off and wear them around yr neck, it's still uncomfortable.
so i was hoping some of you had some recommendation for warm-weather
headphones. something like the 7576s that i can use for both music
listening, as well as audio monitoring. any time i've tried a
cheaper/lesser headphone, i've been able to tell immediately. maybe
i'm just really used to how the 7576s sound, but i love them. just too
damn hot out...!
thanks,
-joshua...
