Veronica A. Parry, worked part-time in the San Diego Zoo to put herself
through University. Took a fancy to the kookaburras. Came to Australia to
Monash University to study Kookaburras.
Found out a lot about kookaburras that we Australians hadn't known. One
result was her delightful book, "Kookaburras", (Lansdowne Press, Melbourne,
