I have been revisiting Johnathon Livingston Seagull on DVD and while I usually am non-plussed by giving human language and behavior to birds, this is the one exception as the message is so poignant and relevant for the age we are living. Neil Diamonds' soundtrack soars with simple melodies that compliment the visual with a profound message. So, I suggest for those of you who cannot get out in the field this week, you might wanna rent this little gem of a movie. Be, Mark |
