Thanks Mike. I'm not sure if "slope of" was the right wording. The mountain proper was about 20 miles away - still it's a steady slope that direction for at least 10 miles until Hood River cuts through. And plenty of open hills for nice echoes. It was an exiting moment, the geese couldn't have timed it better as I had started the recording and walked down the hill to my camp just moments before.
