Anyone interested in recording the sounds of nature is invited to the first
event of Carolina SONG (Carolina Sounds of Nature Group). This will be a
conference at Cheraw State Park, near Cheraw, South Carolina on Friday, 1
June through Sunday, 3 June 2007. Registration will be $50.00 at the door
only (no pre-registration).

We will have field trips to nearby areas, such as Carolina Sandhills
National Wildlife Refuge and Great Pee Dee River Heritage Preserve. There
will also be workshops on the equipment and techniques of sound recording
and on sound editing. You will have a chance to show off your own
recordings.

This event is for veteran recordists, new recordists, and even those who
just want to learn more about recording natural sounds.

For more information please contact me. I hope to see you in Cheraw!
