Snapz Pro gathers the data, then hands it to quicktime to encode. I
use Quicktime Pro 7.1.5, the current latest version. I set it to
encode the video as Mpeg4, medium
quality. Mpeg4 is the current Mpeg standard. If you are having
problems either quicktime is not playing
the file, or you have a old version. Or microsoft is playing games.

It plays fine in Firefox for me. But of course Firefox is just using
quicktime to play it.

It'll look better when you get your PC up to speed.
