Hi Pratap

Take a look at this:

and this:

http://shop.ipodworld.co.uk/iPodWorldSite/product/all_iPods_Speakers/MN_IMA=
INGO/
iMainGo_Travel_Speaker_Case_for_iPod.htm

Or this:

http://www.mobilefun.co.uk/product/9793.htm

Also take a look at battery powered computer speakers as well.

While out birding in Brazil our guide Andy used some small computer speaker=
s to good
effect allowing us to get very close views of birds such as:
Brazilian Antthrush
Buff-Fronted Foliage-Gleaner
Hangnest Tody-Tyrant
Pallid Spinetail
And a real star:
Sooretama Slaty-Antshrike
Or even:
Star-Throated Antwren
To mention just a few of the birds he was able to attract using recordings =
he made himself
onto Hi-MD.
They fitted into a 'bum-bag' and were light enough to take on some very lon=
g hikes into
the forest.
I also have a small 'MP3' style speaker which is battery powered and is sma=
ll enough to
attach to a belt. This has proved invaluable in bringing out Lesser Whiteth=
roat and similar
skulking birds by playing back their call.
You will be surprised what you can get away with in practice and some of th=
ese 'cheap'
MP3 speakers are actually quite good.

Hope that helps.

Phil
