Hello everybody. This is my first post, and I am new to all this. My
name is David Barnas from North Tonawanda New York (Buffalo). I'm 34,
and want to get into nature recording. I joined this group for many
reasons but mainly to get advice on starting, then I'll take it from
there. I have no real experience doing recording, but have always been
interested. I guess I got hooked, when on my honeymoon on St. John, US
virgin islands in june of 2005, I was overwhelmed by the "noise" at
night of the frogs. They were so loud, that it was sometimes difficult
to get to sleep! I recorded them on my digital camera, a poor mono
recording, but cool none the less.
I plan on posting questions about equiptment. I hope everyone can
help, I'll talk to you soon!
