I'm used to rub two of my fingers against each other to quickly test ultrasound microphones. The tiny fingerprint structures produce a surprisingly smooth ultrasonic noise. This is of course not a absolutely reliable "measurement" method, but it can provide some useful information very quickly: http://www.avisoft.com/scratch/RubingFingers.wav http://www.avisoft.com/scratch/RubingFingers.jpg Regards, Raimund |
