Hi Gianni--
All Hi-MD models upload PC as far as I know. The MZ-M100 model _adds_
Macintosh support. I assume it also uploads to PC. Here's a list of
all of the models except for the MZ-200 which, as Phil points out,
might be the same basic unit with different accessories:

For a first generation unit (all pre RH-1), I'd start with v3.4 and
use the self-installer version with this link;
http://tinyurl.com/fjmdm -- not one that uses an intermediary .exe
like those on line. v4.2 has its fans too.
If its a 2nd generation model like the RH-1 or MZ-200, check what
version of SS it ships with. If it ships with v4.0, I'd skip that, go
to 4.2 based on comments on this list. I'd install from disc or join
the Hi-MD forum to access the self-installing versions. Rob D.
