Sorry to keep posting sales on here, but I hope people find these
things useful.

I am selling my trusty FR2 which has served with distinction and
dedication this past year. It does have a little cosmetic wear as I
took it to Africa and Mexico, but nothing major, just a few tiny marks
in the plastic [inevitable with normal use]. It has NEVER let me down
and performed flawlessly in both the desert and jungle.
It comes with the AC adapter and a USB cable [not included when
purchased new] and a 5GB PCMCIA Hard Drive. Also I am including the
original Fostex strap and operating manual. The left hand strap stud
is missing and can be easily replaced by a Fostex sales rep. You'd
probably want to use it in a bag anyway.
I am including a MAHA Powerex battery kit including: world fast
charger and 3 sets of Powerex 2700 mAh AA batteries plus one set of
Energizer 2500 mAh batteries. The kit has a bag and special plastic
cases for the sets of batteries so you can keep them organized. Also a
battery tester.

2 of the sets of Powerex batteries need to be reconditioned, but the
charger has a reconditioning cycle on it for this. They still might
not come all the way back to new capacity, but they should come close.
The Energizer set is only a couple of months old and lasts for about
3 hours. If you record to CF card the batteries will last even longer.
The pre's in the FR2 are really great. I have used the FR2 with an
external Sound Devices pre and without and the only time I notice a
difference in noise issues is when I pump the FR2 at full gain using
the onboard pre's.
You can hear all my recordings made with this recorder on my website.
I haven't taken any photos yet, but I can post some...write me if you
are interested in this recorder and we can discuss offlist.
