Gianni,
Please keep us informed!  I appreciate the archival
advantage of one-bit recording, and I think that
translating from one-bit to 24 bit PCM in your
desktop computer could produce superior results
to the process that happens in real time in a
field recorder.  At least one could experiment
with different algorithms for the translation!
