Its frustrating that the whole night's recording rests on that final
save to disk operation-- unavoidable with all digital recording I
know of-- but still disappointing when something goes stray.
I'd like to get to the bottom of what increases the chance of
glitches, powering or not. Feel free to elaborate on your's. Of ~50
disks, I have set aside one as "faulty," to be on the safe side. It
was an early one I was formatting every time-- a practice I've since
ceased in favor or "all erasing" the factory format. We're you able
to save the recording with "Total Recorder?" or was the file on the
disk unplayable? Rob D.
