Yup! One thing about MS stereo mics, though, is that the way the mid
and the side combine for stereo is one thing, but if mixed to mono the
side completely disappears, leaving only the mid capsule as a cardioid
mono mic. I'll let others expound on the whys or can refer to internet
sources if needed...
